A Vision Led by Rabbi Dr. Abraham Twerski: Not a Cure, But a Miracle

In 1970, ground was broken for a 100-bed residential treatment facility in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Thanks to the vision and dedication of our founder, Rabbi Dr. Abraham J. Twerski(opens in a new tab), and many supporters, Gateway Rehabilitation Center’s first patient was admitted on Jan. 2, 1972.

With over 50 years of experience, Gateway Rehab continues to be recognized as a leader in treatment-restoring the lives of thousands of people every year and renewing hope for their families and loved ones. Gateway’s Programs are designed to respond to the specific needs of each patient – trusted to help all those affected by addictive diseases to be healthy in body, mind, and spirit.

Today, Gateway Rehab has remained dedicated to its roots, becoming one of the region’s largest nonprofit treatment systems with locations throughout western Pennsylvania.

Addiction is a treatable disease, recovery is possible. Make your recovery a reality at Gateway Rehab.
