In 1970, ground was broken for a 100-bed residential treatment facility in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Thanks to the vision and dedication of our founder, Rabbi Dr. Abraham J. Twerski(opens in a new tab), and many supporters, Gateway Rehabilitation Center’s first patient was admitted on Jan. 2, 1972.
With over 50 years of experience, Gateway Rehab continues to be recognized as a leader in treatment-restoring the lives of thousands of people every year and renewing hope for their families and loved ones.
