Twerski and a group of dedicated supporters opened the doors to what has grown into one of the region's largest nonprofit treatment systems. Our Aliquippa campus continues that mission today, offering round-the-clock inpatient care for adults facing drug and alcohol addiction.

Gateway Rehab was founded through the vision of Rabbi Dr. Abraham J. Twerski, with ground broken on a 100-bed residential treatment facility in Beaver County in 1970. More than 50 years later, Gateway Rehab has grown into one of the region's largest nonprofit treatment systems, with our Aliquippa campus continuing that founding mission today.
