PITTSBURGH - Nicole Kurash has been named the
clinical manager of youth programs at Gateway Rehab’s Aliquippa location. She
joined the Gateway staff in June 2001 as a group counselor in the youth and
young adult program. From April 2003 until being named clinical manager, she
was a therapist in the youth extended services program.
A native of Ambridge, PA, Kurash graduated from Slippery Rock University with
a bachelor’s degree in social work in 2000, and she received the McMullen
Award for most outstanding social work student. She completed a master’s
program at the University of Pittsburgh in 2004 and obtained her license in
social work in September 2005.
Her education and experience have prepared her well for dealing with the
challenges that face youth suffering from addiction-related problems. She is
committed to efforts aimed at providing greater recovery support for youth.
The former clinical manager of halfway house services at Gateway since 2000,
Jill Perry is the new program director of the Tom Rutter and Moffett Halfway
Houses for men.
Perry began her full-time career at Gateway in 1997, first as a therapist in
the youth and young adult program and then as a detox therapist in 1998. She
was actively involved in expansion of both halfway houses and relocation of
the Moffett House to its current home in Beaver Falls. Throughout the growth
of the halfway house services, both programs have continued to provide a
consistently stable environment for men to begin their journey of recovery.
A graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Science degree
in business and Shippensburg University with a master’s in counseling, Perry
is nationally certified in counseling and a licensed professional counselor.
She resides in Beaver, PA.
