Dr. Abraham Twerski to Speak at Gateway Rehab Annual Breakfast
“Using the Steps to Change Your Life”

Center Township – Gateway Rehabilitation Center will host its Fourteenth Annual Recovery Breakfast on Sunday, November 6, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Four Points Sheraton - Pittsburgh North, 910 Sheraton Drive, Mars (Cranberry Township), PA.  This year’s theme is “Using the Steps to Change Your Life”.   The cost is $12 per person.

The breakfast speaker will be Dr. Abraham J. Twerski, founder and medical director emeritus of Gateway, and an internationally respected authority in the treatment of alcohol and other drug problems.

Twerski is the author of more than 40 self-help books, including a collaboration with the late Charles Schulz, creator of the Peanuts characters.  He has been featured in hundreds of magazines, newspapers, and publications, and lectured extensively on chemical dependency and other topics such as stress, self-esteem, and spirituality.

Twerski has received many honors throughout his esteemed career. He was recently featured in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review’s weekly publication “Focus,” and in the Pitt Medical News.  His newest book, From Pulpit to Couch, was released in June.

An assortment of recovery-related items and books will be available for purchase.  Twerski will autograph his books both before and after the program.
