– The Mid-Atlantic Addiction Training Institute (MAATI) will present its fall
conference on Friday, October 21st from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the
Holiday Inn Pittsburgh International Airport, 8256 University Blvd., Moon
Twp., PA, at a cost of $79 per person.

with Gerald D. Shulman, MA,
MAC, FACATA presenting. Shulman is a nationally recognized leader in chemical
dependency and dual diagnosis treatment with over 35 years of experience. He
is president of Shulman & Associates, a training and consulting company for
behavioral health, located in Jacksonville, Florida. The conference is geared
toward professionals that want to reduce the chances of relapse in their
patients who exhibit substance use and/or mental health disorders.

The Mid-Atlantic
Addiction Training Institute (MAATI) was formed in May, 1988 by Gateway
Rehabilitation Center, Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), and the
Livengrin Foundation. MAATI offers high quality educational and training
programs to treatment professionals and the community at large.
Gateway Rehabilitation
Center is a private, non-for-profit organization offering comprehensive
prevention services and treatment for adults, youth and families with alcohol
and other drug problems. With locations throughout Pennsylvania and eastern
Ohio, Gateway provides services for over 9,000 individuals annually.
