VOLUNTEERS: THE HEART OF GATEWAY REHAB

“It is heartbreaking to me that so many in our country struggle with addiction.  I was one of them.  I volunteer at Gateway because I want to be an example that through help, hard work, faith and commitment anyone can free themselves from this horrible disease.  I would love to see everyone feel how I feel.  The life I created in recovery is so much better than the life I left behind.”

- Gateway Rehab Volunteer

Throughout five decades, our volunteers have logged over 184,000 hours, serving as teachers, mentors, and helpers. On behalf of all those whose

lives have been impacted we say, “thank you, volunteers.” You are the very heart of the Gateway Rehab recovery community.
